gdb=HEAD%20030208

Type a ^Z (control-Z) at the command prompt.
Nothing happens (no visible output).
^Z is supposed to suspend gdb and return to the superior shell.
It worked fine with gdb 5.3.
Thus this is a regression.
It probably came in with the big interpreter merge around 2003-02-05.
