I was browsing the debugger bug list to see if problems I'm having
have been identified before. PR 1087 describes one of the problems
I'm seeing. For what it's worth, this problem also occurs with both
the 5.2 and 5.3 releases of gdb, on code compiled in this environment:
[simeon]~$ uname -a
SunOS simeon.somerset.sps.mot.com 5.6 Generic_105181-26 sun4u sparc
SUNW,Ultra-60
[simeon]~$ g++ --version
2.95.2
... and executed in this environment:
[atlas]/local/hamilton/gdb-build/test$ uname -a
SunOS atlas.somerset.sps.mot.com 5.8 Generic_108528-16 sun4u sparc
SUNW,Ultra-60
Cheers,
Chris
