This seems to be an old patch for an old gdb. It is said to fix a fortran array problem in gdb. I'd like to take a look into this.

Hi David,
In this PR, you provided a patch for gdb-5.3. And you also said that it fixed a fortran array problem. What is the symptom of this problem? Does it still exist in the latest gdb? I ever committed a patch to fix one fortran array problem a few monthes ago. Don't know whether it fix yours as well.
