Thanks, and sorry nobody replied sooner.
That is an old GDB by now; also, old solaris, old gcc...
I didn't go dig the history to check if/when this was fixed promptly, but I
regularly build GDB on solaris 10 x86 (opensolaris actually), and I know I've
built on solaris 8 and 9 successfully the top of tree around a year ago. I
guess it's OK to just close this.
Please reopen if this build failure still happens when building a recent
(mainline preferably) GDB.
