I just read through the thread where you described the problem. Did you ever
get to build a testcase we could debug? I never saw this happening. Without a
testcase or more gdb debug output, it's quite impossible to
understand what you were seeing. GDB has seen many changes in the last 6 years,
which makes the report even less useful by now :-(. Even the output of "set
debug infrun" and "set debugevents" would be useful.
Please do reopen if you can provide more info we can use.
