I can confirm that the bug is present on Mac OS X 10.6.2.
There is a related MacPorts bug report at http://trac.macports.org/ticket/19871#comment:17
Note: why does it say the target amd64-apple-darwin10.0.0 when the error appears compiling it on an
Intel CPU (as present on Mac hardware)? is there a way to disable compiling for AMD64?
