[Bug testsuite/11515] New: Large number of testsuite failures since upgrading to gcc-4.5.0

I just installed gcc-4.5.0 (using default build flags) and tried upgrading gdb
to 7.1.  Gdb's build went without a hitch (again configured with default flags,
and in particular with default CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS).   I then ran 

make -k -j3 check >& check.log

There are lots of errors.   

I'll attach them.
