Why not try DDD itself. V3.0 is ported to cygwin32 I experimented with the ddd binary at, ftp://ftp.gre.ac.uk/pub/tools/debuggers/ddd/www/ddd.html (You'll need an X server - I used exceed) and used d.fiddes m68k-coff-gdb at, http://www.calm.hw.ac.uk/davidf/coldfire.htm I got as far as gdb getting memory dumps from target board via serial cable connection, and ddd driving gdb (target was cpu32-based). Lack of time prevented me experimenting further. If anyone else is playing with this, using CPU32 target (and gets it working with gdb-bdm mods. I'd love to hear about it). cheers, Ian ---------- From: Brendan Simon To: Cross-GCC; gdb Subject: GUI frontend for Win95/98 ?? Date: 06 November 1998 21:43 Is there a GUI frontend for GDB that runs on Microsoft Platforms. Something similar to DDD would be nice. Are there SDS Singlestep clones that use GDB ??
