i686-pc-sco3.2v5* (default ELF but can do COFF, but with ptrace and no /proc) worked "out of the box" on 4.17. On 4.17.86, it just sails right through every breakpoint. 'break main' and 'info addr main' show that it's using the right place as the destination of the break. Is this a recognized problem? Since the same code works on Linux and (now) UW7, I'm suspecting some OpenServer-specific failure. Are there regular testers of this target? RJL
