i use gdb 5.0 on SunOS 5.6/sparc.
on a local machine, everything works fine. if i try to analyze a core on
the customer machine, the following happens. i have built the gdb on both, the local and the customer machine.
when i start gdb with gdb `which unikixtran` and say "(gdb) target solaris-core <core-file>", the backtrace (bt) show's me a lot of "#0 0xeb79461c in ?? ()". "info share" tells me, that no shared libraries are loaded. if i try to load one with e.g. "(gdb) add-shared-symbol-files /proj/afis4/p/lib/libvacdp3.so",
it tells me: "This command is not available in this configuration of GDB.". why? waht is the problem? what can i do?
