procfs_wait error

Hi, I encounter the following error when debugging a
program on Solaris 7 on Sparc:
/proc/08217: No child processes.
procfs_wait: wait failed, returned -1
The error occurs after a certain period of time I
debugged the program. What are the likely causes of
such an error? Are there any ways that I can overcome
it?
