Another snapshot of the Apple gdb sources

Hi all,

Given the recent discussions and Andrew's concerns about third
parties contributing Apple-written code from Apple's repo to the
FSF, I've created a quick snapshot of the current top of tree Apple
gdb repository. The last import from the FSF gdb was on 2002-08-10,
so the sources are pretty close to what is currently on
sources.redhat.com.

The tar file is

ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/gdb/contrib/apple/apple-gdb-sources-2002-09-09.tar.bz2

Unfortunately it looks like our merging has been a little less
diligent (or I was not diffing right) in the non-gdb directories
(e.g. bfd) so there were lots of diffs that don't represent local
changes. I'm not posting a diff of the FSF gdb 2002-08-10 vs this
snapshot because the diffs have so much noise in them, but I'll
try to fix our repo or and edit some diffs if I can do so cleanly.
I took a stab at it tonight but it was a good bit of work so I gave
up in favor of getting the sources uploaded. I don't know when I'll
have time to this--no promises.

I, an actual employee of Apple[1], am contributing the changed
sources in this tar file to the FSF to do use as they please.

[1] OK, one of the lowliest employees in the company, but nevertheless
    I do work there. :-)

Jason

PS- Ideally the Apple gdb developers would have time to work with
the FSF maintainers to get these changes integrated directly into
gdb, but I don't think that'll happen in the near future. :-(
