GDB 5.3 vs Solaris

Subject: GDB 5.3 vs Solaris

FYI,

I tried to build the 5.3 release on Solaris 2.8 yesterday.  It decides to
use the included libintl, configures it, builds it, and then substitutes
@INTLLIBS@ with an empty string in gdb/Makefile.  I'm baffled as to why; and
it works if I add -lintl to the compile line by hand.
