GDB is v5.3, built on UNIX OSF5.1 for an Alpha processor system.
I 'd also like to note that v5.1 of the debugger in our old environment
(UNIX OSF4.0g for Alpha) does not have this kind of behaviour.
Any help would be much appreciated.
