tree-ssa was never on a schedule to begin with, so what the heck are you talking about?
If you really want to play that card, it wasn't even supposed to be ready before 3.6
The fact that it is ready for 3.5 means it certainly hasn't *slipped*.

Er, it was originally, lets say, "hopeing" for 3.4 (or was it 3.3). Fortunatly the needed resources have now been dedicated to the task.
