Confirmed with the following test program:
#include <tgmath.h>
#include <stdio.h>
int main()
{
int x;
float y;
printf ("%Zd\n", sizeof(pow(x, y))); // Should have value sizeof(double), but
doesn't with
// current glibc.
return 0;
}
