But we don't have to have such poor requirements for %b, when we could use the 
better alternative.

You are confusing general language with literary language. General language 
concerns much more areas than you think about.

These programs don't use the localized order of date parts.
(The last release of ScrollKeeper was in 2003, so this program is dead, so it 
shouldn't be used as nobody will fix any errors, some of them possibly related 
to security.)
