When documenting `open', the manual section `Opening and Closing Files' mentions
the MODE arg and types it `mode_t', but "mode" isn't clear if your mind isn't
already on the details of files in POSIX-like systems, and its nature isn't
mentioned anywhere else in the section or subsections.
