No, Roland, you (deliberately?) misread. I don't disagree that this facility is
for technical problems; I'm saying that Drepper as maintainer is a technical
problem.

I (somewhat facetiously) figure that lots of bugs could be closed simply as
duplicates of this bug: There are actual bugs, but Uli doesn't want to fix them.
Now that some people in Debian are actually working to switch to a fork of
GLIBC, just because of Uli, I figured that this is a decent time to reopen this bug.
I'll be satisfied with a WONTFIX but this bug is definitely not RESOLVED FIXED.
