That's the point of the fix to bug 14496. The root of the problem is that we
save and restore rounding modes in functions that we don't have non-RN modes
implemented. This calls feupdateenv (IIRC), which in turn calls feraiseexcept
if there was an exception to be raised. The exception mask check in x86_64 was
incorrect, causing feraiseexcept to be called all the time. with the fix, it
is only called when there actually is an exception.
