Hi all,
I am trying to build glibc2.1.3 for Linux 2.4.0-test1 SH-3.
The tools i am using are
1. binutils
binutils-000218.tar.bz2
binutils-000218-000519.diff.gz
2. gcc2.95.2
3. glibc
glibc-2.1.3.tar.gz
glibc-2.1.3-000515.diff.gz
glibc-crypt-2.1.tar.gz
glibc-linuxthreads-2.1.3.tar.gz
My configure command is:
[manoj@posix glibc]
disk2/linonsh/tools/src/glibc-2.1.3-original/configure --enable-add-ons=cryp
t,linuxthreads --prefix=/disk2/linonsh/tools/bin --host=sh3-linux --with-hea
ders=/disk2/linonsh/kernel/linux-2.4.0-test1/include/
I'm getting the foll. error :
*** Some critical program is missing or too old;
*** Check the INSTALL file for required versions.
What is the problem?
This problem does not arise if i include the headers of 2.2.12 kernel.
Has anyone done a build with kernel2.4.0?
