good evening list
i'm new to gtk and probably have a couple of easy questions for ya!!
1)concerns gtk-tips-query-new - i have achieved a "...start-query with
the "activate" of the query-item in my menu, but don't know how to get
my pop-up dialog to open (it is in a function called
print-private..."widget-select" takes 6 parameters and i can't seem to
figure out how to call the function from the signal-connect of the menu
item from which i want to read tip_private!!
2)concerns accel_groups. In gtk+ the function gtk_widget_add_accelerator
takes 6 parameters.
no. 5 is accl_mods whose valid options are a GDK call of some type and
no. 6 is the accel_flags whose valid options are a GTK function call.
are these variables bound and how does one call them??
for no. 1 i now have --
(gtk-signal-connect tips-query "widget-selected" (lambda ( )
(print-private tips-query widget tip-text tip-private ev data)))
function looks like
(define (print-private tips-query widget tip-text tip-private ev data)
(let ((dialog (gtk-dialog-new.....etc
for no.2 i now have - -
(gtk-widget-add-accelerator exit "activate" accel 'Q (gdk-control-mask)
(gtk-accel-visible)
thanks for any help received!!
