Sorry, I forgot to CC to the list: A couple of months ago, I launched a first attempt to compile one of the snapshots under Win 95 with the Visual C++ compiler. I came up to the point that I could run guile interactively in an emacs buffer. It worked fine with some trivial test programs that I wrote on the fly. My starting point was to adopt the autoconf-package for the MS compiler and run the thing under the gnuwin32 environment. I did not yet have the time to finish the port but it doesn't seem to be an undoable thing to me to get a full port without much effort. (Well, I should at least run a real test before making any promises). Greetings, -- Jürgen Weiss -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Scott C.
