I'm wondering if anyone's done (or doing) any work on cleaning up
numbers in guile (excluding Dirk's writeup)? The current system has
annoyed me one time too many ;'), but if there's already ongoing work,
it would make more sense to contribute, rather than diving right in
(ok, I already dived in, but I'm not all that far yet ;).
