I would like to, but am at loss as how to do it better than it is already
done.  I mean, I can't write it any better than Dorai Sitaram; in my final
solution I more or less used his coding style.  And the discussion,
including various people's code examples and Mikael's text is already
stored in the guile mailing list archive - which is a place anyone would
search for this kind of folklore.  (We did, before we asked the question
on the list).
