Actually I'm using one in SART. I went the simplest route and an just
using Guile's GC for my C code - integrating it wasn't just simple, it
was also lots of fun. I realise it may not be an option for you,
considering the present state of Guile's GC - however, it won't stay
this way forever, hopefully.
