This reminds me of the guile-CORBA support. Is there anything new in 
that direction? We have been talking about guile+ORBit or guile+Ilu
some months ago.

The odd numbers in a third position are for the cvs archive versions,
thus the formula needs to be (1.3.(k+2)).
