I don't see it as a priority, and worrying about it leads to
optimizing for the lowest common denominator - and one that
most people don't care much about. I care about it, because
I like to be able to dial in using telnet. But using something
like VNC is probably a better solution - certainly my boyfriend
is much happier at the idea of using xemacs over VNC than over
telnet!
I believe Running JEmacs on a "standard terminal" is a solvable
but not very important problem. I would like to offer it as
an option - but other features have much higher priority.
