Hi,
First of all, thanks to everyone who helped me out, I'm now at least
able to connect to my runing processes and I've found out where my
program crashes. It's a start. :-)
One thing I don't understand though: how do I attach to a running
process without starting gdb from the command line? Whenver it crashes,
I can re-run it from the GIMP's interface but I always have to stop and
restart gdb, which is annoying and long on my sluggish machine.
I'm running a really old version (GNU gdb 19990727) so if it's
implemented in newer releases, let me know and I'll download and
compile. But since I'm running out of disk space these days, I'd rather
avoid a recompile.
Thanks,
L
