I can't reproduce this. Using latest versions:
/win/i $ cygcheck -c cygwin w32api autoconf automake
Cygwin Package Information
Package Version Status
autoconf 4-1 OK
automake 2-1 OK
cygwin 1.5.23-2 OK
w32api 3.8-1 OK
I ran "cvs up -r gdb_6_6-branch" in an existing checkout of the gdb/insight
source. Are there any earlier errors (perhaps even at the config stage) that
you've overlooked?
