Evaluation updates from "Lel Bruce Peto" on LMPs/FTRs
Perhaps the most enduring aspect of the US Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission's efforts to develop a standard market design has been the
commission's preference for regional transmission organizations (RTOs)
to implement locational marginal price (LMP) markets. Simulate and study
LMP markets as they develop within the contiguous United States and
Canada. Some sophisticated analyses to support: policy development,
formulation of bidding strategies, valuation of transmission and
generation assets, litigation support, valuation of tradable Firm
Transmission Rights (FTRs), RTO development, and assessment of risk-
management strategies.
