There seems to be one problem with upgrading from pre2 to pre3 as
reported by Jürgen Heinzl (see below). I didn't have that problem
myself. Has anybody else seen this?

I encountered a minor snag when upgrading from glibc-2.1.1pre2 to
glibc-2.1.1pre3.
make install did not work with the old dynamic linker. Since the
new one gets installed though I ran make install again to work
around that. System up and running right now 8)

I guess it should be mentioned in the documentation or if a Makefile
update does the job ... so much the better.
