Hi,

I've uploaded to

	ftp://sourceware.cygnus.com/pub/glibc
and
	ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu
and
	ftp://ftp.xx.kernel.org/pub/software/libs/glibc

(where xx is your two-letter country code) the first test release for
glibc 2.1.1:

	glibc-2.1.1pre1.tar.gz
	glibc-2.1-2.1.1pre1.diff.gz

There are no add-on changes and therefore no new files.

The diff is mainly that large because of documentation and data file
changes.

Changes:

- many bug fixes

- many Hurd changes

- Linux/SPARC update

- various cleanups

- ELF dynamic loader speedup and code size reduction

- ISO c9x update


I have one or two PRs left for which I first have to check whether
these are glibc problems (might be kernel problems).  Please give it a
try and send feedback to the list.
