That sounds perfectly reasonable. My main goal is to have 32-bit UIDs
stable and "working out of the box" for the future Linux distributions
based on Linux 2.4.
Out of curiosity, what new features can we look forward to in glibc 2.2,
and in what timeframe do you expect it will be released?
