The PPC64 support is coming soon (I hope today). PowerPC64 will have some
differences from PowerPC[32] as is ABI is different and the first supported
release will be gcc-3.2, glibc-2.2.5 (glibc-2.3???) and linux-2.4.19 so
there are no backward compatibility issues/versions.
I must admit that I have not been tracking the xattr issue and don't
understand the implications yet... just trying to get the patch out.
