Status of PowerPC64 in glibc-2.3

- Subject: Status of PowerPC64 in glibc-2.3
The good new is that most of the PPC64 support is in glibc-2.3. The bad
news is that some key header files in
./sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/powerpc/bits did not make it into the release but
the stat changes did.
Net glibc-2.3 will build but can't complete make check on either the new or
the old 2.4.19 kernel. If you are in a hurry to build your glibc-2.3
PowerPC64 system the patches @ftp://ftp.linuxppc64.org/pub/people/sjmunroe/
will get you going until I get these last changes accepted.
Finally many thanks to Roland, Geoff, Jakub, Ulrich and others for helping
this newbe though the process!
