has undefined non-weak symbols

Jakub,
I recall you mentioned that the warnings in prelink of the form...

prelink: Warning: /usr/lib/libcupsimage.so.2 has undefined non-weak symbols

...while non-fatal suggest that prelink may be non-optimal in dealing
those files. I was wondering exactly how significant the optimization
loss in prelinking was and whether it would be worth systemically
addressing this in all the libraries. That is, do these undefined
non-weak symbols arise from a particular source and how would you
modify things to eliminate them in general?
                                    Jack
