Prelinking and copy relocs

Some gentoo users are still having problems with prelinking.
I have added the patch for dl-machine.h in gentoo's glibc from glibc
CVS. Although it fixes the previous error it doesn't help the following
case.
The patched glibc and devtools were compiled and installed.
Next prelink was compiled. In the "make check" part most of the tests
failed
reloc1
reloc3
reloc6
reloc7
shuffle[1-5]
with the errors in the log saying:
../src/prelink:
/var/tmp/portage/prelink-20021002/work/prelink/testsuite/reloc6: Could
not find variable copy reloc is against
For a full tarball of the logfiles get:

Any ideas?
