Hi This has come up before[1] but so far I haven't seen any resolution. To recap, these failures started showing up since kernel 2.6.11: $ grep "\*\*\*" glibc.log make[2]: *** [/temptools/src/glibc-build/nptl/tst-cancel17.out] Error 1 make[2]: *** [/temptools/src/glibc-build/nptl/tst-cancelx17.out] Error 1 make[1]: *** [nptl/tests] Error 2 make: *** [check] Error 2 I found a patch (attached) in the Suse srpm but wonder why it hasn't been applied to Glibc cvs (maybe it's incorrect?). Are the Glibc developers not seeing these failures? Are the Glibc developers running kernels that don't trigger the failures? Is this one of those Mexican standoffs that happens occasionally between the Kernel and Glibc folks? :-) Thanks for any comments.
