Nope, not quite, because I have been so slow to find any time for it.  I
will try to fulfill my role as bored geek and get it working this weekend.

I think hurd/mips might be viable; Kazumoto Kojima <kkojima@rr.iij4u.or.jp>
is the contact.  But that probably suffers from much of the same
instability the linux/mips port does.

The tools requirements for the hurd on a given machine should be the same
as for linux on that machine.
