Andreas,
Slashdork is well known for the fact that whoever posts there is clueless.
Don't get upset about what a bunch of kids have to say about things.
When I go to slashdork I always read it as a humor site, otherwise it will
be hard to get over things like "red hat is crap" and "glibc is broken".
Those are in the daily menu on slashdork in one form or another.
Watching the clueless is actually fun if you know how to look at it.
