Hi all,

I think it would be really useful to have a ChangeLog entry marking a
release (and perhaps pre-releases).  Right now it is not so easy to
see if a particular fix went in before, or after a specific release.
When dealing with bug-reports it is incredibly useful to know if a
particular bit of code has been touched since the release mentioned in
the bug-report.

I have brought this up before, but I didn't receive any reactions.
