I know nothing about any alpha problem. This bug was reported by Jim Studt, after he chased down a problem on an ARM system AFAIK. It was discussed on the Debian ARM list which I happen to monitor. Since I happen to spend a great deal of time maintaining GLIBC on the ARM platform I investigated. I managed to duplicate the problem and reported it. I'm sorry your upset, but I didn't even know you were involved. Scott -- Scott Bambrough - Software Engineer REBEL.COM http://www.rebel.com NetWinder http://www.netwinder.org
