According to Andi Kleen (and some greps throgh kernel sources) MSG_URG was never used. Kernel 2.4 now uses MSG_CONFIRM instead. I've committed the appended patch for glibc 2.2. Andreas 2000-07-27 Andreas Jaeger <aj@suse.de> * sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/bits/socket.h: Rename MSG_URG TO MSG_CONFIRM following kernel 2.4.0 (MSG_URG was never used). * sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/mips/bits/socket.h: Likewise.
