This compiler:
/bonus/scratch/jpernito/btools-builds/wip-3942/ix86-Linux-RHEL4/i686-pc-linux-gnu_gcc-4.2.3/bin/gcc
doesn't understand a power option e.g. -mnew-mnemonic.
Are you sure it's a cross compiler?
