This is often done in other > testing that I've worked on. if you were speaking generally, that would be one thing. but if you're going to report an error (and bugzilla should be used for that), you should show the latest version failing and simply make a note that it's been this way sine XX version. if there's a problem with the dist tarball generation, then Alfred would like to know. if there's a problem with the cvs tarball snaps, then that should be posted to libc-alpha. -mike
