Please file a ticket in the bugzilla against glibc, version 2.15, mark it as a build issue.
It might be that cherry-picked backport caused a problem on the 2.15 branch for sparc.
If you could narrow down which commit in 2.15 broke it that would be great.
glibc 2.15 has broken abilist symbols, this is only fixed for glibc 2.16.
Carlos, backporting all the abilist changes for 2.15 is IMO a rather large change. Do you really still want to fix this?
Andreas,
I didn't remember the abilist symbols being broken :-(
I definitely don't want to backport that into 2.15.
Lets mark this as an expected fail.
Jan,
Could you please add this failure to the wiki for the 2.15 release?
http://sourceware.org/glibc/wiki/Release/2.15
Add it under Known Issues -> Testsuite Failures.
That way we keep track of detected known issues reported by users.
