I guess no-one here really know the format of the glibc locales. We
need to come up with some documentation. At least that is my
conclusion after asking several questions about the format to this
list without getting any authorative answers. :/
I added this transliteration issue to bugzilla as
<URL:http://sources.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=89>, and will
try to test the patch before submitting it to the commiters.
