Hi Mike , Daniel,
                         I tried out mikes patch in crosstool it works
fine it gives me a cross compiler that can compile a application and
linux kernel.

I'll incorporate this patch in the crosstool and post it again in crossgcc.

@Daniel If you feel that this is not a proper patch please tell me i
have no clear idea about this.
