I apologize, it was not my intent to insult. I only wanted to point
out that there are standards for submissions to glibc.

It certainly wasn't meant as a blow-off, other developers have
responded to your question.

One of my roles in the community is to point people at the appropriate
bits of documentation that define what you need to get a patch
accepted.
